  • Engineering a Century of Change (30-minutes) This documentary features the most fascinating engineering achievements of the past 100 years. From dams to bridges, this program illustrates the vast contributions engineers have made to Colorado's infrastructure. For ages 12 and up. (DVD: $40 Members, $55 Nonmembers, plus shipping and handling; VHS: $17.50 plus shipping and handling)

  • The Invisible World: The Bridge Makers (24 minutes) This entertaining program shows students how to build a bridge out of Popsicle sticks! Brianna, the heroine of this program, takes on bridge building as a school project. She learns how fascinating engineering can be as she completes this fun school project with the help of some consulting engineers. They tell her how bridges are built and discuss the different types of bridges that exist, what happens when a bridge is built improperly, and to make a real bridge stand. Throughout the video, Tim, the show's host takes viewers to various bridge locations. For ages 7-15. DVD: $40 Members, $55 Nonmembers, plus shipping and handling)

  • The Perfect Storm (24 minutes) Derived from an ACEC/CO Engineering Excellence Award-winning project, The Perfect Storm shows major Colorado floods and shows how science and engineering are used to predict situations that result in "the perfect storm." A student project handout is included. Dave Fraser, WB2 News meteorologist, was the first to present the program in the classroom and introduced the video on the evening news. For ages 7-15. (DVD: $40 Members, $55 Nonmembers, plus shipping and handling)

  • Careers in Engineering Kit. This kit was produced to provide information designed for students from elementary to high-school. With this packet, you'll be well-prepared to introduce students to the wonderful world of engineering. The kit includes all the titles above in DVD format, plus some of our most popular activities and handouts. It's available for $55 or two for $100, plus shipping and handling.
