Let's learn about Mechanical Engineering!
Bridger

Mechanical engineers are the people that provide heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing and fire protection for buildings. They do heating and cooling load calculations that are based on the construction of the building, type of machines in the building, and the type of activities in the building.

Mechanical engineers use this information to determine the size and type of equipment that should be used to heat and cool the building.

Bob Stroschein I am an engineer because.... I always liked math in school, but did not enjoy solving word problems. My math teacher suggested that I go to the South Dakota School of Mines because of its great engineering reputation. I was exposed to different types of engineering but finally decided on mechanical engineering because of my strong interests in solar energy.
