Invisible World: The Bridge Makers

This entertaining program shows students how to build a bridge out of Popsicle sticks! Brianna, the heroine of this program, takes on bridge building as a school project. She learns how fascinating engineering can be as she completes this fun school project with the help of some consulting engineers. They tell her how bridges are built and discuss the different types of bridges that exist, what happens when a bridge is built improperly, and to make a real bridge stand. Throughout the video, Tim, the show's host takes viewers to various bridge locations.

Engineering a Century of Change

This documentary features the most fascinating engineering achievements of the past 100 years. From dams to bridges, this program illustrates the vast contributions engineers have made to Colorado's infrastructure.

The Perfect Storm

The Perfect Storm shows major Colorado floods and shows how science and engineering are used to predict situations that result in "the perfect storm." A student project handout is included. Dave Fraser, WB2 News meteorologist, was the first to present the program in the classroom and introduced the video on the evening news.
