Seminars/Programs - Requirements
The Professional Development Committee of ACEC/CO has planned a
balanced business related educational program for you and your staff
that will develop future leaders
and will keep you abreast of new trends in the business of consulting
engineering.
You will find seminars that will be beneficial to your firm and to all
of your staff members.
The long-term concept is to provide a continuing program of seminars
that will focus on the varied aspects of our business, including the
following key elements:
- Management
- Financial/Accounting
- Marketing
- Human Resources
All of the seminars will provide current and practical insight for all
levels of staff, ranging from project engineers to senior principals.
They will offer an opportunity to learn not only from nationally
recognized professionals, but also through interacting with each other.
Some states now require Professional Development Hours (PDH) when you
renew your registration as a Professional Engineer and many states are
in the process of developing similar legislation. Contact the ACEC/CO
office at 303-832-2200 or email
acec@acec-co.org to
obtain the listing of the states' having PDH requirements. You and your
professional staff should be prepared for these requirements by
beginning to establish your continuing education program. ACEC/CO can
help you by providing quality programs with qualified professional
development hours and by issuing certificates to assist you in record
keeping.
We thank those who have participated in previous programs and hope that
you will encourage even greater participation of your employees in
upcoming seminars. ACEC/CO will provide discounts for multiple
registrations to assist you in providing this opportunity for more
people from your firm.
