In the field of consulting
engineering, Certification
is the mark of professionalism. The Certified Engineer is an
experienced
consultant possessing expertise in administrative skills. He/she brings
to each engineering project knowledge of problem solving and cost
effectiveness.
The Certified Engineer is a consultant who is totally dedicated to
providing
professional services in the best interests of his clients and the
general
public.
Certification requires registration
as a professional
engineer, and a minimum of eight years of responsible engineering
experience,
which includes four years of administrative duties with a consulting
engineering
firm on projects requiring substantial engineering services, including
contract administration.
If all eligible principals of your
firm are members
of Certified Consulting Engineers of Colorado (CCEC), you are eligible
for a 5% discount on your DPIC insurance premium. To receive this
discount,
at least one of your principals must attend CCEC's annual Risk
Management
Seminar in the Denver area.
