SCHOLARSHIP - Administers the Council's Scholarship Program
- Golf Comittee: Plan Annual Member/Guest Golf Tournament
EDUCATION - Works with K-12 and university level students to establish cooperative programs. (i.e. Career Fairs and Construction Career Days)
PUBLIC RELATIONS - Work with ACEC/CO Committees to establish a positive public relations program. Publicize awards program, promote PR opportunities to members through ACEC/CO's media partnerships and other Committee and Council activities.
AWARDS -
  •Engineering Excellence: Administer the Council's Annual Engineering Excellence Awards Program.
  •General Palmer Award: Selects outstanding engineers in industry as candidates for recognition.
  •ACEC/CO George Washington Award: Selects outstanding ACEC/CO member for recognition as outstanding community leader.
MEMBERSHIP - Administer program and recruit and retain members for the Council.  Review and approve applications. Establish contact and communication program with member firms to encourage involvement in the Council and it's programs.
TECHNOLOGY - Review and recommend imporvements to the ACEC/CO website, keep current on new technological strategies that can be used to improve communication between the Council and its members.

BUSINESS PRACTICES - .
  •Risk Management: Review risk management programs, contract issues, tips for member firms, review legislation relative to professional liability. Conduct and complie Salary Business Practices Survey.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT/PROGRAMS - Establish education programs for the Council, its members and professional staff. Provide Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for participation. Plans and schedules monthly meeting programs and socials.
LIAISONS -  Provide dialogue with other inter-pro trade associations to better improve relations with the inter- pro members on issues of conflict and concern.

Colorado Contractors Association
APWA/AWWA
EXPERT WITNESS CERTIFICATION - Review and implement program and provide continuing education     seminars for certification.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS
Legislative - Establish legislative programs to assist members in meeting their legislators, monitor and enact legislation, work with lobbyist on legislative issues, establish legislative contact program.  Inform committees and members of legislation that affects them.
Liaisons with:
WATER RESOURCES - Establish liaisons with water related agencies such as State Engineer, Department of Natural Resources, Colorado Water Conservation Board and Colorado Department of Health.
TRANSPORTATION - Establish relations with transportation agencies in the state to include Colorado Department of Transportation, RTD, DRCOG, Department of Aviation, and City of Denver to discuss relations with member firms.
ENVIRONMENTAL -Facilitate exchange of information and provide a forum for communication of common issues to regulatory and other government agencies such as CDPHE, EPA and CDOT Environmental Group/FHWA.
CEPAC -Political Action Committee established to raise and distribute funds to political candidates for state office.
