MEMBERSHIP
- Recruits and administers program to obtain new members for the Council.
Reviews and approves applications. Establishes contact and communication
program with member firms to encourage involvement in the Council and it's

- Reviews and recommends imporvements to the ACEC/CO website, keeps
current on new technological strategies that can be used to improve communication
between the Council and its members. |

- Reviews risk management programs, tips for member firms, review legislation
relative to professional liability, and plans annual risk management seminar.

PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT/PROGRAMS - Establish education program for the Council,
it's members and professional staff. Set up a program to provide
Professional Development Units (PDU's ) for participation. Plans and schedules
monthly meeting programs and socials. |

VERTICAL DESIGN - Looks at areas of concern and interest, explores potential liaisons and facilitates improved communications in the architectural built environment. |

Provide dialogue with other inter-pro trade associations to better improve
relations with the inter- pro members on issues of conflict

issues, establish legislative contact program. Inform committees
and members of legislation that affects them. |

- Establish liaisons with water related agencies such as State Engineer,
Department of Natural Resources, Colorado Water Conservation Board, etc.. |

•TRANSPORTATION

Establish relations with transportation agencies in the state to include
Colorado Department of Transportation, RTD, DRCOG, Department
of Aviation, and Cityof Denver to discuss relations with member
firms. |

•ENVIRONMENTAL

Establish liaisons with environmental related agencies such as the Colorado
Department of Health and Environmental Protection Agency. |

•CEPAC
-Political Action Committee established to raise and distribute funds to
political candidates for state office. |
